Call for Artists: 2024 Teen Maker's Mart

Attention artists and artisans, 12 to 17 years old:

  • Are you making oodles of friendship bracelets or jewelry?
  • Have you found the perfect scent for handmade soaps?
  • Are you addicted to macrame, weaving, knitting, or crochet?
  • Is sewing your most favorite thing ever?
  • Are you exploring carving and working with wood?
  • Have you discovered working with clay?
  • Are you painting, drawing, or dabbling in multi-media art?

If you answered yes to any of that,

Then we want you for our first ever

Happy Up's 2024 Teen Maker's Mart on Saturday, Oct. 5th

This is your chance to sell your handmade crafts and original artwork.


Our Kid’s Craft Fair in 2023 was a hit. And we heard from lots of our friends that they would LOVE it if we had a similar event for Middle School and High School aged makers.

We're thrilled to host the Teen Maker's Mart on Oct. 5th at Happy Up in Edwardsville (map on our locations page).

Registration fee is $5 for a 6x6 booth space.

Turn in the form, along with the booth fee, at Happy Up Edwardsville.

Registration will close on Sept. 20th, or when the spaces are filled.

Space is limited, register as soon as you can!

Information for Vendors:

Vendor’s Meeting*:

Monday Sept. 23 at 6pm
at Happy Up Edwardsville
6654-A Edwardsville Crossing Dr.
Edwardsville, IL 62025

Market Day:

Saturday Oct 5th
11am - 2pm (setup at 9:30am)
At Happy Up Edwardsville
(Alternate date Oct. 12 in case of bad weather)

Things to Know:

  • Vendors will be responsible for their own booths and all transactions.
  • Booth size is 6ft x 6ft.
  • For vendors 12 to 15 years:
    Adults must stay for the event to provide any assistance if needed.
  • For vendors 16 years & older:
    If vendors will need help with setup/takedown or with transactions, an adult must stay for the event.
  • We will not have staff available to assist vendors.

Things You Will Need:

  • Your own table, display, or decorated booth. If you want to spread out a blanket, that’s ok, too!
  • Cash box (with enough cash to make change)
  • All items priced and ready to sell!
  • Water, sunscreen, and any other items to stay comfortable during the market.

*Vendor’s Meeting is required to make sure this is a great event for everyone. Please bring examples of your work so we can take pictures of it to help promote the event. If you are unable to attend, let us know as soon as you can!

Yes! We will have another Kids Craft Fair & Toy Sale.

We plan to host it in the Spring of 2025. We'll announce the date and the details in late January or early February 2025.
