ABCs, 123s, and Beyond
Published Wednesday, August 30, 2023Happy New School Year!
It happens around this time every year. We start getting questions about ways to help reinforce and develop school skills. Especially early reading, basic math, and getting along with friends. And we’re so happy to be asked!
For the reading and math, repetitive skill drills aren't our favorites. While they may help some kids, many balk and just don't engage fully. Sometimes, this compounds the problem they were supposed to fix.
What to do? Gamify!
A little competition and togetherness can go a loooonnnnggggg way to helping.
Collected here are some items that ARE our favorites to establish good foundations for learning. Best part, they're sneakily educational.
We won't tell the kids. 😉
