ASTRA is coming to St. Louis!

We are SO excited!!

What is ASTRA? It is the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association. In other words, it is THE organization that supports specialty toy stores like Happy Up.

The annual ASTRA trade show is happening in our own backyard!!

EEEEEEEEE!!!! 🥳 🎉 😁

The Happy Up crew is going to take FULL advantage of this opportunity.

To make sure everyone has a chance to attend at least once, the Happy Up stores will be CLOSED on Monday, June 3rd.

While we’re at the show, we’ll be meeting other toy store people, networking, and brainstorming. We’ll get to meet with different toy and game manufacturers and see their wares before they hit the market.

And we'll be playing with everything we can! Expect to see some sneak peeks on our facebook and instagram.

Several crew members from both of our locations will take an intensive two-day training course. At the end of it, they will be Certified Play Professionals. This is a *really* big deal.

As it is, our crew is pretty stellar at matching customers with the perfect playthings. But going through this course will give them deeper insight and understanding in how play impacts child development.

In turn, this means we will be even better at helping our friends and customers!
